This morning as I was sitting in staff meeting I realized that it was this time a year ago that I came to Cal Poly for a vision trip. Oh, how much I’ve been through since then. God was faithful to raise up my support in order for me to move here on time to start the fall quarter.
But now that I’m here my mind moves forward with thoughts of so many things that I want to see happen; things I want to trust God with. Would you pray with me for these big dreams? Holy Spirit is the only one who can move in people’s hearts to make this happen:
- a movement to be born among the collegiate and club athletes at Cal Poly (especially among Ultimate Frisbee where there are very few Christians)
- God’s heart for the nations to become what motivates us to ministry not only here but in East Asia, El Salvador, and the world
-deep conviction in students’ hearts to spend a summer, a year, a lifetime serving Jesus all over the world
- pray for laborers to be raised up here that would reap the harvest for God’s kingdom
